Grossglockner High Alpine Road PLC extends a motorcycle-friendly project
the 2004 Gerlos Alpine Road and Nockalm Road are now included:
- exclusive “Bikers Point” rendezvous on all three alpine roads
- “Bikers Nest” on the Edelweiss Peak
- even more reasonably priced touring tickets
- 96-page gratis “Grossglockner, Gerlos + Nockalm 2004 Motorcycle Heaven” brochure containing a great deal of information
“We wish to become the most motorcycle-friendly pass road in the Alps!” With these words, Dr. Christian Heu, sole director of the Grossglockner High Alpine Road PLC, started in the spring of 2003 an ambitious and previously unequalled project. The aim is to offer motorcycle visitors more service, comfort, safety and thus a more intensive experience on the 48km panorama road leading over 2,500 metres through the Hohe Tauern National Park.
